The Future is Here - The key: DGPS
and GIS Soil Sampling
The shape of things to
come in land management will include: -
DGPS and GIS compatible soil sampling and nutrient profiling with
fully integrated computerised backup and software disks for transfer
to computer indexed fertiliser and sludge spreaders.
Nutrient application - Sludge, Slurry,
Chemical Fertilisers
Spreading nutrients on agricultural land is now subject to limitation
parameters fixed by EU and crop nutrient requirements.
Satellite oriented
Satellite oriented controlled precision spreader land dosing is
rapidly becoming a normal requirement and a commercially effective
ingredient in land management and crop management programs internationally.
Specialised agricultural contractors will in future require
satellite based information to enable them to give customers
precise application rates of slurries and other fertilisers with
computer programmed layering variations within the overall land
spread areas to optimise nutrient use & avoid waste.
