Conculsion: Most deficiencies are similar to last time, however Nitrogen levels have dropped. Nitrogen should be applied to keep potatoes growing. Phosphate is still quite low and needs applying. Magnesium, Manganese, and Boron are low and will need treating. Copper and Iron are low but not worth applying now.

ACTION: Paul Drinkwater applied 1 litre ALGIFOL per hectare on 16th, 23rd, 31st July 1998

Result after 3 sprayings of ALGIFOL 1 litre per hectare

After 3 applications of ALGIFOL, most elements are at satisfactory levels for the crop at this stage of growth.

Nitrogen levels have fallen sharply. Phosphate is also low but not worth applying.
